The slinky sausage dog

This was a present for the family living in the currently very cold and snowy Scotland. When making things like this it is usually the eyes that get the most debate and her luscious lashes have definitely given her character.  She was very happy seductively slouched on the chair before being sent up to Scotland where she has a less luxurious life stuck to a door stopping those cold drafts.

The penguin piñata

We make piñatas for my nieces and nephews every year.  This penguin is one of my favourites, I like the way he seems to be guarding the ball of string as if it was an egg. Sadly the life of a piñata penguin is short and usually ends tragically; not long after this photo was taken he was smashed to pieces by a hoard of screaming kids who went on to eat his insides.

The funky friesian

We have American nieces and nephews and when thinking of presents for them we usually try to sneak in a European theme. This year it is taking the form of this friesian cow (from Happy Hopperz). Not wanting to be out done on the bull riding we thought this inflatable bouncy beast would put them through their paces.

The snowman

This smartly dressed fellow was made my by OH to hold presents.  He was a real surprise and very conveniently had a removable head so I could get to my other surprises without having to damage him.  We are planning to take him to visit my nieces and nephews tomorrow and I am not so sure he will survive that unscathed.  Melting may be the least of his problem.
